Three records (outa four, the demo is missing) in a single archive. Varghkoghargasmal play "wooden black metal". It's louse, lo-fi, half-improvised outsider music, sounds like jazz or surf rock sometimes. It's awesome.

Wreck of the Hesperus - Terminal Dirge

no compromises blackened funeral doom from Ireland. This is their first demo, and it's one of my favourite records lately. Raw sound, but not in that bedroom-black-metal way, just muddy enough to deliever the kick. All their stuff is highly recommended!
(oh, and this is post no 67, so Einstürzende Neubauten was no 66, you know, that is, SHAITAN! BURN!!)

Carrion Wraith - Carrion Wraith

Nature, insanity, darkness.

Oh, I still have to write some introduction thing. Monarque's project, blah-blah, you prob'ly already know this better then me. Carrion Wraith is probably one of the best black metal records for me. It's an ALBUM, with fairly consistent material, great vocals, nice warm production (it's raw, but not br00tal and noisey), nice acoustic passages, etc. Get it, it's a great listen!

Aluk Todolo - Descension

Another release from this band, this time a full-length. The recipe is the same, maybe noisier and harsher. What else is left? Listen and hope they are not nazis or something. They do have a thing for esoterix and all that jazz. But they make amazing music.

Aluk Todolo - 7" EP

Trying to revive this blog... all old links are down, well, bad luck. I might do some re-ups later. Gonna be using mediafire, seems to be the most democratic free upload site to me. So.
Here's a pretty awesome release, Aluk Todolo's first EP. Features two compositions (side A & B, respectively). They are one of those bands, whose music gets labeled krautrock all the time, well, yeah, there's some krautrock here, the songs are driven by a steady motorik beat, they are long and monotonous... yeah. Whatever. They took this so called krautrock (krautrock almost became the new post-metal) and added noise and black metal.

Some more French Black Metal, this time a real LLN band. Raw and harsh and misantrophic, just the way I like my black metal. I think I mistyped the release date in the file description, the correct year's 1995... Whatever. Good musick.

Darvulia - L'alliance Des Venins

Ooookay, lamest artwork EVER. I mean... waaaaaaaaaah!!??? WTF??? But an amazing black metal album from the French underground. Not LLN, but almost. Very raw vocals, distorted riffs. Yepp. Not much to talk about.
